About Bella
Isabella has always had a strong passion for health and wellness. She began her career by earning her ISSA and ISSN certifications and becoming a certified personal trainer while completing her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences with a minor in Exercise Physiology at Oakland University. She graduated summa cum laude with the highest honors.
She went on to earn her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is currently an Emergency Medicine resident at McLaren Macomb.
In addition to her medical training, Isabella has spent over a decade in the fitness industry. She has competed in multiple bodybuilding competitions, coaching herself throughout the process, and became a nationally qualified athlete after winning her class and earning the title of Miss Collegiate in her most recent show. Beyond her own athletic pursuits, Isabella has several years of experience coaching clients, creating individualized training programs and tailoring macronutrient plans to support their goals.
Isabella has authored, presented, and published research on a range of topics, including hunger hormones, estrogen and its effects on the body, optimal nutrition for athletes, and weight loss outcomes following bariatric surgery. She believes that thoughtful evaluation and clear communication are essential to providing high-quality care for patients of all ages and goals.
